The Pontiacs of Central California recently hosted the 2026 All GM Car Show. The event was held at Clovis Bicentennial Park in conjunction with the annual Clovis Rodeo. This show continued the club’s annual car show tradition that began more than 30 years ago and has evolved through many changes into the current All GM format.
The opening ceremony included a color guard presentation of the colors and the singing of the Star-Spangled Banner by Dave Garibay. Pastor Steve Wemmer delivered the opening prayer. The show featured numerous awards covering the many classes needed to recognize the wide variety of GM vehicles on display — from early classics to nearly-new vehicles.
Participants enjoyed several food vendors on site along with a large silent auction full of bargain prizes. After judging more than 100 entries, the awards presentation concluded another successful event. The club now looks forward to the 2027 show, with many improvements already under consideration. Pontiacs of Central California recently celebrated 32 years since its founding in 1994. Members and friends gathered at the home of Diana and Andy Hoff for a delicious lunch and a chance to catch up with current and former members. Several beautiful Pontiacs were on display, making the day extra special for everyone in attendance.

Gary Shabbazian has been a member of POCC for several years — though only a few club members actually knew it, even as his name stayed on the roster. He runs a very busy veterinary practice in Fresno, which has kept him from taking an active role… a true mystery member.
